Remember Spyro?

It’s annoying when some of the best games are modernised to the point where they’re not recogniseable anymore. That’s exactly what happened to Spyro the Dragon, and there’s no doubt that The Legend of Spyro certainly killed the franchise.

Spyro now only makes minor appearances in Skylanders and it’s quite crazy to think that it was one of the most popular PS2 games, but here we are with the PS4 and it’s nowhere to be seen. The games were changed too much for most peoples’ liking and the Legend of Spyro was dark and nothing quite like the previous world we all remember.

It’s a shame to think that Spyro will only be enjoyed when we dust down our old consoles and plug them in for an evening or two. For a game that had so much potential, it’s sad to see that it’s the end of the line and it has been for quite some time.
