The Xbox 1

The Xbox 1 is the newest games console released by Microsoft as part of their Xbox franchise. It is in direct competition with the earlier released PS4, but there are some stark differences between the two. While the PS4 focussed mainly on being a games console, the XBox 1 has aimed at creating an all inclusive entertainment centre for peoples living rooms, which can be used for playing music, DVDs, and games. The Xbox 1 also has higher computing power, so it can perform better than its competitor in most areas, including graphics. Unfortunately, this does translate into the increased cost of the Xbox in relation to its rival, costing a considerable amount more than the PS4. Although you can get a lot more out of the Xbox 1 than the PS4, it can be a trade-off, and it therefore may be worth it to carefully consider which would be best for you.
